Francesca Smith BSc (Hons) MIRVAP (ICH) CCMT
Lead Canine Hydrotherapist (Beverley)
Francesca originally studied a BSc Hons in Zoology, whilst working in an aquarium. Switching sharks and jellyfish for dogs, she worked as a manager for a kennel and cattery boarding service. It was here that she found pride in her work most when helping dogs with challenging behaviours. Through taking her own dog to hydrotherapy to help with his arthritis, Francesca felt she could combine all what she had learnt so far and help dogs get the best out of their experience. From here, Francesca went onto completing her Level 3 certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy, and has since been in practice for 6 years, she has a special interest in pain identification and management.
Fran has recently qualified as a Canine Mobility Therapist, and is keen to put what she has learnt into practice at Beverley
In her spare time, Francesca likes to be outdoors, paddle-boarding, walking and taking trips away.
